Questions answered
Good question. In all honesty, I don't know, it has not been tested. Some things have been fixed for the XBLA version (For example: Gobi's Valley Witch Switch Jiggy Early, Termite Skip), but whether the main glitches (Reverse Bee Adventure, Door to Grunty Skip, 450 Note Door Skip, 640 Note Door Skip) have been fixed is a matter which hasn't been investigated by the community simply because the majority own a copy in some form of the early-ish versions of the N64 version.
Why do I say "early-ish"? It's because like most games (Donkey Kong 64 being the one I have the greatest experience of this with), they release the game to countries at different times. This is so that the countries who get the game later have less glitchy games as the developers of the game sort out bugs for later versions. Your best bet in terms of versions for most games is either the NTSC or the PAL. NTSC is the best for Donkey Kong 64 I believe, as well as for Banjo-Kazooie. However, you can still do some great glitches for Both on the PAL version as well.
CAN CHANGE:
- Order of Rusty Bucket Bay and Gobi's Valley
- Collection distribution of Notes and Jiggies in Levels (As long as you can get 41 Jiggies and 810 Notes in the end), however, changing these for the RBA levels will result in unnecessary problems. REMEMBER, before you enter the Bubblegloop Swamp Lobby, you have to be 100% confident that you can get the required amount of notes to get you up to 810. If you can't, and you can't resort to re-entering Click Clock Wood (Or Mumbo's Mountain, Treasure Trove Cove, Clankers Cavern, Freezeezy Peak, Mad Monster Mansion) for more notes, then it's game over as you cannot re-enter Bubblegloop Swamp, Gobi's Valley or Rusty Bucket Bay.
CAN'T CHANGE
- Where Bubblegloop Swamp is in the order (This is because of the detransformation process, and if you did Bubblegloop in place of Clanker's, and Clanker's in place of Bubblegloop, you would do this run with 43 Jiggies. Not 41! This is because Bubblegloop costs 2 more jiggies to open legitimately than Clankers)
Within Gruntilda's lair, there are certain zones which trigger the transformation to Banjo from any form. In normal gameplay, you observe this regularly with these Zones:
MUMBO'S MOUNTAIN
- Between the main entrance to the Lair and the Lobby of Mumbo's Mountain
BUBBLEGLOOP SWAMP
- Entrance to the Lobby of Bubblegloop Swamp
FREEZEEZY PEAK
- Between the Main Lobby of Freezeezy Peak and the Main room with the 350 and 450 Note doors
MAD MONSTER MANSION
- Just outside the entrance of the 450 Note Door in the Lava Room with the Gobi's Valley puzzle
CLICK CLOCK WOOD
- Between the Cauldron (Which links Click Clock Wood and near Clankers Cavern) and the Click Clock Wood Lobby (This is the essence of RBA)
- Between the Warp to Furnace Fun and the Click Clock Wood Lobby
- Between the 640 Note door and the Click Clock Wood Lobby
- Between Click Clock Wood and the Mumbo Token near Rusty Bucket Bay (Top Corridor)
- Technically not in the lair, but upon trying to enter a season other than Spring with the Bee
When entering these zones, you will get a warning, when entering a similar zone, you will transform... So, entering the Bubblegloop Swamp area will trigger a warning. Exiting Bubblegloop Swamp Lobby into the large Witch statue area will cause transformation.. This is why Bubblegloop Swamp has to be last in the RBA adventure
Reverse Bee Adventure. Essentially using some clever trickery with transformation reversion zones, Bee flight mechanics and triggering a cutscene whilst transforming into Banjo. Once done, you can fly though the lair relatively freely. With this, there's the main fun with the fact that a majority of the rooms within the lair don't have a proper ceiling (i.e. the ceiling may be there visually, but the developers didn't program in a hit box for the ceiling, so you cannot be stopped moving vertically upwards by the ceiling). These rooms are 90% of the rooms in which Banjo is not expected to be airbourne. Because they don't have a proper ceiling, you can fly through them to reach levels early and enter pretty cool places.
WARNING: hitting a reversion zone (see the above question about de-transformation) will end the Reverse Bee Adventure. If you are doing this on Console or have saved after causing RBA, you will have to start the game again from scratch and do everything to redo RBA as the cutscene cannot be activated once more.

Granted. Initially when I wrote the first iteration of this guide, I threw around some figures for amounts which I thought was achievable in levels when RBA was concerned. Specifically Gobi's Valley which I said you should collect 100 Notes for. This was because I didn't consider what you could physically collect with the Bee, and the amount you could easily collect.
These two are pretty different as some notes (once in RBA) become pretty difficult, if not impossible to collect. For instance, in Gobi's Valley, you can enter the Hissup Temple, the Water Temple or the Puzzle Temple (before you ask, I don't think you can enter the Sandybutt temple as the loading zone doesn't exist until you shoot the eggs into the statues, which you can't do it as a Bee) with some out of bounds clips to enter the loading zones, however, these can be pretty difficult to do, and thusly slower than collecting some relatively easy notes in Bubblegloop Swamp or Rusty Bucket Bay.
I could've listed more notes for Click Clock Wood, thus making the RBA shorter, however, I've listed the minimum amount of notes you can collect in Click Clock Wood, so that you can collect 100% of the easy notes in the 3 RBA levels. However, for whatever reason you can't collect some notes, you can easily revisit Click Clock Wood and collect some of the 22 remaining notes in Click Clock Wood
